Starting with your food safety in mind, you’ll typically find surplus hot and cold food like cook-to-order meals, ready-to-eat meals, cakes, pastries, sandwiches, fruits and even canned food and other RTE items. Food is still safe, good for consumption and available for a limited time each day, usually before the store closes.
